What licences are Kent Trading Standards responsible for?

We are responsible for licensing or registering businesses to store fireworks (and certain other explosives), non-medicinal poisons and petroleum. Find out more from the links on the left.  

Certain licences and permits issued by Kent Trading Standards are covered by the EU Services Directive and are available to complete online. 

Other licensing matters (for example, alcohol licensing, street trading, taxis, gambling establishments and scrap metal dealers) are dealt with by the District or Borough Council.
