The Meat Products Regulations 2003 define ‘meat product’ and require certain types of meat products to contain a minimum amount of meat and named meat. The Regulations include details of definitions of meat and associated connective tissue and fat criteria, and list reserved descriptions with the appropriate meat content for each.
