This guidance contains information for honey packers on the labelling requirements needed to comply with the food and metrology legislation that covers this product. Honey must be sold in prescribed quantities and the leaflet list the quantities that honey, when pre-packed, must be sold in.
If also provides guidance on weight control, to enable packers to ensure that the correct weight of the product is achieved and also provides other guidance to ensure that organic claims, for example, are met.
