This is aimed at consumers who may have a disability and who would like advice about the problems associated with package holidays and the disabled traveller. Package holidays are taken by many million British holidaymakers and they can prove to be good value for money. Most holiday companies now have excellent arrangements in place for the disabled traveller but it is always advisable to make as many enquiries as possible to ensure that the holiday that is being offered is indeed suitable.
It also contains a ‘checklist’ that may be useful to the disabled traveller, and finally there is list of UK contact organisations that the traveller may find useful, either before travel, or after if there has been a problem.
