‘Package holidays’ are governed by the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. Any false or misleading representations or descriptions about the holiday, hotel or facilities made by the tour operator or its representative are covered by the Regulations. You are legally entitled to certain information before the contract is concluded including information about passports, health formalities, and financial protection. There are other laws governing terms of your contract (which should be clear and fair), air carrier liability, and misleading pricing.
