Frequently asked questions
How many days can I attend?
The annual conference and exhibition is designed as a three day event but you can book for one, two or three days, depending on how many days you would like to attend.
A full conference delegate package entitles you to admissions to all conference sessions and the exhibition over the 3 event days. Refreshment breaks on all days (via a voucher system). Conference delegate pack. One ticket to the welcome reception on Monday 14 June, one ticket for the gala dinner (black tie preferred) on Tuesday 15 June.
Daily delegate packages allow admission on a specific day to all/specific conference sessions and the exhibition. Conference delegate pack and refreshment breaks on that day (via a voucher system).
Day delegate and evening events packages are also available. These include admission to the conference for the specified amount of days and also entry to the welcome reception or the gala dinner. For further details regarding these packages please see the delegate booking form.
Members of the Trading Standards Institute are entitled to attend as conference delegates free of charge. Attendance will include admission to all conference sessions and the exhibition. Conference delegate pack. All non-paying attendees will be charged for refreshments.
Can someone else come to the conference instead of me?
Yes, if you are a paying delegate and you want to send a colleague in your place, please let us know either by fax on 0845 608 9425 or by e-mail to conference@tsi.org.uk. Please clearly state the original booking details and then any amendments. For TSI Members conference places are not transferable.
Can I send in my booking form without marking which day I wish to attend?
Yes, if you are unsure of which day you would like to attend the event when completing the booking form, please do not hesitate to send in the booking form. This will ensure your place is secured. It aids the administrative elements of the booking process if the day is marked and will speed up your registration on arrival at the event but it is not essential in guaranteeing your place.
What are the booking terms and conditions?
Full payment is due as invoiced. Delegate cancellations must be received in writing before 21 May 2010, the fee will be refunded less a £50 administration charge. After this date NO money will be refunded. Bookings may be transferred to colleagues. Please see section above for further details.
When will I receive booking confirmation?
An invoice (for paying delegates and/or evening events) and confirmation of your booking will be sent to you directly from the Trading Standards Institute. If you have not received confirmation of your booking within three weeks please contact TSI on 0845 608 9400.
