Our Service Standards

Consumers

We aim to respond to all complaints and enquiries from the public within 5 days.

 

Businesses

We will respond to requests for advice from traders within 5 days and aim to provide a full response to 90% of enquiries within 10 days.

 

As well as these standards there are additional corporate standards.

  • Telephone calls to be answered within 5 rings

  • Letters to be acknowledged within 5 working days with full response within 20 days (unless there are special circumstances, which will be explained in the acknowledgement)

  • External emails to receive an acknowledgement within a maximum of 5 working days confirming a full response within 20 days

  • Customers to be seen within 10 minutes of appointment

  • Casual callers to be seen within 5 minutes, and the correct person called within 30 minutes

  • Complaints, whether verbal, written or by e-mail to be acknowledged within 2 working days; with a full response within 20 days.
