Animal Health

You will need to complete a licence form before you move sheep, goats, deer or pigs. For more information see our animal health and welfare page.

Credit

All traders who make regulated credit agreements, as well as credit brokers, debt advisors and others, must be licensed by the Office of Fair Trading.

Explosives including fireworks

We register and inspect premises that store up to 2000kg of explosives which do not require an explosives certificate (including fireworks and small arms ammunition).

Petroleum

We license all premises where petrol is stored for dispense into vehicles. If your premise dispenses petrol to vehicles you must obtain a petroleum licence from this authority.

Poisons

We license premises that sell poisons. Licences must be renewed annually from 1st May each year.
