Safety Electrical Equipment
All consumer products that operate using electricity between 50 -1000 volts AC or 75 - 1500 volts DC, i.e. all mains powered goods must satisfy the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Electrical equipment must be CE marked. Also, most portable electric appliance must be fitted with a 3 pin fused plug. |
