What do we do?

We have three clear strategies for tackling these sales in Gloucestershire.

1. We give advice to traders on selling age-restricted products
   Together with our colleagues in the South West we have produced a comprehensive training pack called No Proof of Age, No Sale on CD-ROM to help businesses train their staff. Regular updates will be issued on the SWERCOTS* website.
    

2. We encourage the use of proof of age cards

3. We carry out test purchasing operations
   Assisted by young volunteers we check for compliance with the law.
