Talkingshop

What is it?

‘Talkingshop’ brings the subject of consumer rights and responsibilities to life through real time role-play via the Internet.  A class of pupils working together at a PC in pairs, deal with real life situations faced by consumers and traders every day.  You can click on links that help you to research problems that are put to you and you will also be able to interact, by email, with Trading Standard professionals who have the knowledge and skill to provide instant feedback to your queries.

‘Talkingshop’ is available to all schools in Kent and once your school has registered, you will be able to access all the information you need to run an event in your classroom, as well as having support and guidance from your local ‘talkingshop’ co-ordinator.
