We regularly visit Kent traders selling age-restricted products to give advice about the law on selling goods such as alcohol, fireworks and tobacco. There are strict penalties for selling such goods to young people. (See the Age restricted products and the Age Restricted Products Retailer Pack).

Kent Community Alcohol Partnership (KCAP) is a new initiative aimed at changing attitudes to underage drinking. For more information on the scheme please visit our KCAP pages.

If you have any doubts at all about the age of a purchaser ask for proof of age.
