Consumer Advice
In 2011 our consumer advice section dealt with more than 4,750 complaints as well as a large number of general enquiries. This web site provides information and advice 24 hours a day to help consumers solve their own problems.
From this page you go to our self-help advice sheets. If you are an Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council trader or resident, we can send you leaflets including those produced by other organisations such as The Office of Fair Trading and The Department for Business Innovation and Skills.

Make a Complaint
We welcome complaints from members of the public who live in Oldham, or have entered into a contract with a trader based in Oldham. You can complain on-line to us, by clicking here to link to the Consumer Direct website. Once we receive your complaint, we will deal with it in accordance with our prioritisation scheme and respond to you accordingly. You can also complain by telephone on 08454 04 05 06.
