You are working for trading standards and whether you have just graduated or entered as a trainee straight from school or changed career this is your starting point for the Trading Standards Qualifications Framework (TSQF).

You need to register as a candidate by completing and returning the TSQF candidate registration form (Form A) (PDF 26KB).

When completing your registration forms you will be asked for the names of your internal assessor and internal verifier. Talk to your employer.
You may have examinations passes allowing exemptions against the framework. Tell us about them.
Have you prior learning that may give you exemptions from written examinations against the framework? Tell us about them.

Your authority may have its own internal training programme in place. If it does not, consider our training providers (PDF 113KB) as a method of preparing you for your examinations.
If you sit examinations with an accredited external training provider an exemption fee will apply to each exam you wish to bring into the qualification framework.

When you have registered you can begin working towards your examinations and/or on your portfolio of evidence.
