Training
You need to consider how your candidate will gain their required knowledge. You can set up your own in-house scheme or collaborate with neighbouring authorities. There are also external training providers (PDF 20KB). You should also consider the ts e-learning college.
If you send your candidate to an accredited external training provider and they sit the examinations with them, an exemption fee will apply to each exam the candidate wants to bring into the qualification framework.
We suggest setting up a personalised timetable for the candidate clearly indicating progress and giving the candidate deadlines to meet their plan of study, etc. This should offer guidance not only to the candidate but those involved in their training, and will indicate the level of resourcing needed.
TSI provides revision courses which combine e-learning and class room style learning. These courses are run by the examiners in the subjects.
