TSP Application
If you are looking to submit a TSP application please complete the following short questionairre, this will inform you of what evidence will be required for submission to TSI.
Remember to quote your unique number on the top of your application form, which will be on the screen with the final response.
Fees
A yearly registration fee is applicable of £50, starting with applications received from the 1st January 2012. This will be charged on a pro rata basis if your application is submitted part way through the year.
(If you are already registered into the TSQF and are eligible for the yearly registration fee and this has been paid, then this fee is not applicable).
This fee is in addition to your normal yearly membership fee.
Please be advised:
Should reflective statement(s) form part of your application for Trading Standards Practitioner status, the following one-off fee(s) are applicable:
£242 plus VAT per reflective statement (if you are submitting two reflective statements, one for your trading standards knowledge and one to demonstrate your level 6 capability, then 50% discount is applicable against the second reflective statement) please note the registration fee is not included in the above price.
You will need to provide TSI with the following:
- TSP Application Form (PDF 58KB)
- You may need to submit a Reflective Statement
- guidance for TS Knowledge (PDF 108KB) in lieu of a level 6 qualification
- evidence of Degree or level 6 form of study Academic Capabilities reflective statement guidance (PDF 124KB)
- evidence of Personal Development Plan guidance (PDF 106KB)
- registration into the TSI CPPD scheme, and evidence of up to date CPPD or evidence of employer CPD. CPPD guidance
- evidence of appropriate TS Qualification
Please note TSI only require copies of your CPPD and TS certificates, please do not send originals.
