Copies of relevant legislation can be found at this external site Application ProcessAn application for consent should be made in writing and signed by the applicant or his agent and shall normally be made not less than 28 days in advance of the performance concerned. The authority will normally respond within 7-14 days. The applicant must at the same time forward a copy of the application to the Chief Officer of Police; and the authority may also copy it to the local Fire Authority if it considers this necessary.
